ICA were the successful tenderers for the design, supply and installation of telemetry equipment at 21 existing Sewage Pump Station (SPS) sites and 7 existing water sites. The scope of works included development of schematic and switchboard layout drawings for each individual switchboard, construction of the switchboard panels or RTU enclosures and installation of these at the sites throughout the Rainbow Beach, Tin Can Bay and Cooloola Cove areas. Maintaining operations at all sites during the upgrades was a key client requirement and as such ICA developed specific methodologies for each site to reduce or eliminate any stoppages that could occur. In addition to this, ICA were also engaged to design and install Base Station, Local Operator station and Server cabinets for the radio backhaul system of the project, complete with fully configured radios for all Pt to Pt and Pt to Multi Pt communications.

ICA also carried out all RTU code for each site, designed and developed all ClearSCADA code for the projects Main/Standby servers, installed SMS alarm management systems for all critical alarms, supplied and installed ViewX client machines and carried out all site commissioning.
